Started May 2005 – started in mortgages in 1991 with NatWest! I became a in house mortgage adviser with NatWest bank soon after deregulation of the banking markets in 1990, I enjoyed it so much I carried on…..
Set up Mother Goose Mortgages in 2007, and have run successful estate agents and commercial finance brokerages alongside Mother Goose. But I still come back to the bit I really enjoy which is talking to clients about their varied mortgage funding options and requirements.
Outside of work, I spent 15 years as a volunteer governor for a Kent based group of further education colleges, becoming chairman at the end of my stint. I am a scout leader, current chairman of Speldhurst Cricket Club, and love my cycling, having completed the Lands End to John O’Groats ride in May 2018. Currently volunteering at a local railway with my son.
My ideal garden shed – it would contain all my bikes and have a huge railway! Would also need a log burner!

I have been with Mother Goose Mortgages since the company started in 2007 as an Administration assistant. I worked full time for many years but now work part time and remotely as I am based in Cornwall.
Prior to this I worked for Barclays Bank in the retail sector for 24 years covering many different roles but all were customer service oriented. I left there in 2002 to work for a mortgage broker as their Administration Manager, which is where I met Nick.
I also own a successful holiday let business which keeps me busy, but is a great way of meeting people.
Outside of work, I love to spend as much time as possible with my husband and dog, making the most of the beautiful area we live in, although I also like to spend a few weeks of the year in the Caribbean!
I also enjoy gardening, reading and buying shoes.
My ideal garden shed would be somewhere where I could hide my shoes! It would be filled with flowers and photos and treasures I have collected over the years, along with a Gin bar.

After travelling for a few months in Europe and the Middle East, returned to the UK and began working for a Mortgage Broker. Apart from some time off having two children, I have worked in administrating mortgages ever since.
Married to Nick, life is busy enjoying walking the dog, volunteering in the church, and spending time looking after, and being with my family.”
My ideal shed would be a party room. It would have a very large wine fridge, along with disco lights, a disco ball and anything else disco related.

Prior to this I worked as an Executive Assistant to the Group Principal and CEO of an outstanding College based in Kent for 12 years.
Outside of work I enjoy going to the gym, the theatre and really love spending time being creative through craft activities.
My ideal garden shed – would be more of a log cabin with all of my dress, card making equipment.
